Enrollment

Rainforest Kids Child Development Center offers three programs: a day care, after school (not available at this time). It accepts children ages 8 weeks to 4 years and 11 months of age for day care and 5-8 years old for after school program(not available at this time). The Center has approximately 15,000 square feet and ten classrooms. It serves approximately 120 children.

Elegibility

In order to attend the Rainforest Kids Child Development Center the child must be a dependent of a Federal employee. If the children of Federal employees do not fill the capacity, children of the community are welcome. If you are interested in the program you may go to the waiting list link in the Home Page and fill out the information. You will receive an e-mail confirmation. The criteria to enter the center:

a. US Federal Employees children (active employees)

b. Siblings of children already in the program

c. Grandchildren of active Federal Employees

d. General public (Community)

Registration Requirements

  • Registration Forms signed by both parents.

  • ​Picture 2x2

  • Medical Examination Form. Signed by the Pediatrician.

  • Medication Release Forms. One signed by the parents and the other one signed by the pediatrician.

  • PVAC 3- Immunization Form (from the Puerto Rico Health Department) (original green paper given and signed by the licensed health professional with the immunization up to date information and the validation date).

  • Parents Handbook Agreement. Signed by both parents.

  • Health Insurance Card. (To certify copy)

  • Monthly Payments Method: (Select One) Direct Debit (All Banks), Internet Payment (Banco Popular Only) and Voucher (Payable at Banco Popular Branches).

US Federal Families

Employment Certification

All Federal families must provide an employment certificate in order to be considered a federal family (for eligibility and monthly payment purposes). Only parents and/or grandparents are eligible.

New Children

  • Child’s Behavior Evaluation from previous school (If the child had previous experience)
